A WordPress blog comes with a standard "theme" or design. Want to "jazz up" your blog? There are thousands of free themes available online. There are also plenty of premium themes available for purchase as well. And most themes can be customized even further... allowing you to add your own logo, change the colors, change the layout, etc. If you want your blog to be customized to match your current website or to match your own unique style, let us know what you're envisioning and we can customize your theme for you! (Available only for blogs hosted by Digital K.) Wordpress design customizations are $200 and include the following:
- Installing the WordPress blog on your website
- Installing your blog theme: Choose from a free theme, a premium theme you have purchased separately, or one of the premium themes we have available for our clients. We have several premium blog themes available for you to choose from; these themes are normally sold for $75 - but we offer them for no additional charge with the $200 blog customization fee.
- Creating minor design changes to the theme (color changes, adding your logo, setting up your menu if the theme has one, etc.)
- Setting up a few pages for you to get started with
Need some special functionality or features on your blog? Plugins can extend WordPress to do all sorts of things, from adding a photo gallery on your blog, to blocking spammers from commenting on your blog, to adding RSS feeds, and more! If you have any plugins you want installed on your blog, just let us know which ones you want; we are able to install most plugins for no additional charge when we customize your blog!
